Christopher Johnston is a founding partner of the Law Group of Iowa. He is an experienced trial lawyer who has successfully handled many car accidents, civil rights/police brutality claims, dram shop cases, motorcycle accidents, pharmaceutical cases, semi-truck accidents, wrongful death, and more.
Chris is proud to have been born and raised in Iowa and proud of his family’s deep roots here. He is a third generation Iowan by his great-grandfather who settled in Coin, Iowa (located in Page County in southern Iowa). His grandfather was born on the family farm in Coin and lived there until early adulthood. He then moved to Carrol, Iowa, where he opened a small service station. He left Carrol to serve his country in WWII and upon his return, settled in Waterloo to work for John Deere. Chris’s mother was born in Waterloo, as were his many uncles and extended family.
Chris feels that it is an honor to serve his fellow Iowans and is proud to be able to protect the rights of his fellow people.
